The Design Process
Our custom restomod building services require a high-attention to detail before a build can begin. This starts with an in-depth conversation regarding what you’re looking for in your custom restomod. We can create a rough rendering of your vision to show what the final product will look like. So What is a Restomod?
A resto-modification, “restomod,” is the full restoration of both the interior and exterior of a vehicle with the addition of modern parts and technology. Popularity for restomods has grown over the years due to their draws on all the advancements of high-end automobile technology and customizable options. These features not only enhance the vehicle’s performance, they improve the safety of the car as well.
The Restomod Build
Supply the vehicle. You have the option to supply your own vehicle, or we can find one for you.
Gut the vehicle. We will photograph every part of the vehicle before gutting so you can show you the true condition of your project. Our technicians will then remove any unnecessary/expendable parts of the vehicle to get it down to its bare bones (i.e., glass, fuel tank, sheet metal, interior).
Inspect the vehicle. We will thoroughly inspect the vehicle for any possible damages as well as any possible misalignments to the body’s shell.
Time and cost estimate. Based on the restomod package you’ve selected and any extra customizations, we will be able to give you a written estimate of the total costs and time.
Get to work. We will work through our restomod project plan one step at a time, giving you status updates along the way. Updates include progression of the restomod, as well as photos of the vehicle.
Client inspection. We will invite you to visit the Venom Builds shop to inspect your completed restomod vehicle and make any additional requests to ensure the work is done to your satisfaction. Remember, any additional requests will bring changes to the cost and time estimates.
Client approval and payment. Once the entire restomod project is complete, we will require your official approval and receipt of final payment.
Shipping. You may require shipping for your new restomod. We will carefully load, cover, and ship your finished product to the site of your choosing.
